This position plays a crucial role in the success of an investment bank by actively increasing wealth and funds, maintaining investor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to the overall success of the investment bank`s fundraising objectives.
Portfolio Management
- Create and execute compelling wealth management strategies to attract new investors and meet monthly targets.
- Perform regular portfolio reviews, rebalancing, and risk assessments to optimize return potential.
- Manage and optimize investment portfolios to maximize returns while considering risk tolerance, investment policies, and market conditions.
- Effectively communicate investment strategies, market insights, and performance updates to internal stakeholders, clients, and other relevant parties. Adjust strategies based on evolving client needs or market shifts.
- Prepare reports detailing returns, asset allocation, risk, and rationale behind portfolio decisions.
- Liaison with corporate clients, Financial Institutions, and prospective investors to develop and implement effective strategies to increase assets under management.
- Execute trades with a focus on minimizing costs and optimizing timing and liquidity.
- Ensure seamless collaboration with trading teams for execution and settlement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new investment products, and evolving market dynamics.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, regulatory requirements, investment guidelines, and internal policies.
- Keep detailed records of trades, portfolio activity, and reporting for internal and external audits.
Leadership
- Mentor junior analysts and associates; guide research objectives and drive team learning.
- Lead development and back testing of new strategies, incorporating scenario analysis and stress testing.
- Work closely with team members to align investment strategies with overall market conditions and client objectives.
